People who have “purpose,” or a sense of their gifts and strengths -and use them daily- have increased well-being and tend to live about seven years longer than those who do not.
One of the goals of the Blue Zones Project® is to help people discover a clear definition of their gifts or deepen their sense of purpose.
Come and join Blue Zones Project for a Purpose Workshop and gift yourself the opportunity of finding or reinforcing your gifts and talents.
It’s fun. Enlightening. Life lengthening. Life changing!
Walk away with a purpose statement and knowing your top 5 gifts.

By Amanda Kirk, Certified Personal Trainer, Yoga Instructor
The science is clear; we must move your body continuously to stay healthy and live long. But the idea of having to put in efforts our whole life can feel daunting and even depressing!
No one wants to feel stuck doing the same thing forever.
But working out doesn’t have to be an endless chore. Personal Trainer and obstacle racer Amanda will show you how your own focus can significantly changes how you work out- physically and mentally.
Using examples from her adventurous endeavors and obstacle races, she will break down the difference between training for an event versus training for life and break down barriers and excuses that make it hard to get to your gym, studio, or simply step outside.
Making exercise and training fun is a priority for Monterey Bay Moves’s trainer Amanda – expect to learn how to apply a “race” mindset to your life and leave with a new perspective on what your fitness journey – and life! – can look like.
