Elizabeth Plante has been physically active for over 10 years – although far from healthy most of her life! After losing 65+lbs and going through her own lifestyle transformation, she realized her true passion and energy came from her weekly runs with friends, organized group trainings and swim sessions at the local pool. Leaving behind her previous life as an educator and marketing consultant, Elizabeth decided to live a life of service to her community by inspiring others to make their health a priority.
Upon moving to the Peninsula from her beloved Canadian block of ice, Elizabeth decided it was time for her to launch her dream business, Monterey Bay Moves. She is now an ACSM certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor. The avid triathlete specializes in outdoor training, weight-management, endurance & strength training as well as lifestyle modification.

Interesting tidbits: Elizabeth’s first language is French – despite having reached an acceptable level of English speaking, her cues and teaching style can be weird and funny at times. She is known for her intentionality, direct yet caring coaching style and intense focus when it comes to training her clients. She eats a plant-based diet and somewhat believes that one day this nation will be lead and guided by love, hope and respect towards all living beings.
Our Dream Team
With a passion for community building and social justice, Nick has worked with incarcerated youth and has run wellness programs in underserved communities and charter schools. Nick continues to train with several mentors and teachers and is committed to lifelong learning as a student of various healing arts and holistic health. In his Qi Gong and Mindfulness classes the focus is to create a harmonious union between mind, body, and spirit.
With each class we build a deeper, more loving relationship with ourselves as we enliven our practice.
