Elizabeth Plante has been physically active for over 10 years – although far from healthy most of her life! After losing 65+lbs and going through her own lifestyle transformation, she realized her true passion and energy came from her weekly runs with friends, organized group trainings and swim sessions. Leaving behind her previous life as an educator and marketing consultant, Elizabeth decided to live a life of service to her community by inspiring others to make their health a priority.

Interesting tidbits: Elizabeth loves surfing, camping, and trains for triathlons in her free time. Elizabeth’s first language is French – she also speaks Spanish and Italian. Back in Quebec, Elizabeth used to run in the snow and ice at -30F; don’t bother telling her you skipped your workout because of bad weather 😆
She has adopted a plant-based lifestyle in 2016 after being vegetarian for 3 years. She finds eating whole foods and plants has benefits for her and others; not only does she recover faster from tough workouts, manages her weight much more easily and has steady energy throughout the day, but her health markers have never been so good and she finds it’s the most compassionate thing to do for all living beings. If you’re plant-curious, make sure to ask her questions about how to add more plants to your diet!

Shea’s passion for running and experience coaching youth running and movement clubs make her an ideal instructor to teach Yoga for Runners (and walkers!).
She enjoys sharing her passions with all ages. Her experience teaching kids in schools throughout her travels makes her a fun and inspiring instructor for yogis of all ages.
